Our Inception:

On January 16, 2008 we watched as Steve Jobs pulled the world’s thinnest notebook from a standard interoffice envelope. At that moment we looked at each other and said “we have to have one of those” my wife asked me which I was talking about and I said “both” she knew exactly what I was thinking. The next day we were designing a notebook sleeve in the hopes of creating an exact replica of an interoffice envelope. Two days later… we had a design and we were on the hunt for a quality manufacturer. At this point we knew we had created a novelty item, but we weren’t so sure that it would give the protection or usability someone would need and expect for their Macbook Air, so we went back to the drawing board. After a lot of research, we decided to use high grade vinyl for the exterior, one that is water resistant and fade proof, we added 10mm of high density foam inside, to ensure your Air would be protected from any minor bumps, and lined the interior in non-scratch cotton twill. The two red buttons with red string look nice and give it the look of the real interoffice envelope, but c’mon who would trust that a little thin string to keep their MacBook Air firmly in place? So we kept the buttons along with the string, stitched the flap shut and added an industrial grade zipper at the bottom of the sleeve for a more secure closing. “Ahhh.. this outta do it we thought.” Our sleeves have the appearance of a work of art, from the hand crafted buttons down to the meticulous detail of the stitching.

When we got our hands on our first official product, we were amazed at what we had created. This is it! It’s stylish, sophisticated, yet completely usable.

And Just Who Are We?

We are just your average family. We live in the suburbs of California, parents of an overly dramatic teenage girl, who keeps us busy with her soccer ambitions; she is definitely a go-getter when it comes to her dreams. We love to travel, and we all love technology, especially our Mac’s. Although we work full time outside of the home, both of us are self starters and highly motivated entrepreneurs. We’re thrilled that our first business venture is giving us the opportunity to devote our time into an industry that we have such an extreme passion for.
